In a swift move responding to public demand, the South Central Railway (SCR) has reversed its decision to cancel the Friday service of the Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express. Initially, the train’s Friday operation was set to be suspended, but after consistent feedback from passengers, the railway authorities confirmed that the train will now operate six days a week, including Fridays.

The Vande Bharat Express, which connects Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is known for its speed and convenience, making it a preferred choice for regular commuters, particularly those traveling over the weekend. The decision to drop the Friday service had raised concerns, especially among weekend travelers who depend on the fast service for both leisure and work-related travel.
SCR officials cited strong demand for the service and acknowledged the operational challenges involved. However, efforts are underway to ensure the continued availability of the premium service on Fridays, which plays a crucial role in maintaining weekend connectivity between the two major cities.
Train schedule
The Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express departs from Kacheguda at 5:45 am, reaching Bengaluru by 2:00 pm. The return journey leaves Yesvantpur at 2:45 pm, arriving back in Kacheguda at 11:00 pm.
