Techie loses life after falling under lorry while avoiding pothole near Nelamangala

26-year-old Priyanka lost her life after a tragic accident near Huskur APMC; poor road condition blamed for mishap

A 26-year-old techie, Priyanka, lost her life in a tragic road accident near the Huskur APMC on the Madanayakanahalli-Nelamangala stretch on Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 9:30 AM, when Priyanka was travelling with her brother on a bike.

According to police, the siblings were heading from the APMC Huskur Road towards Madavara when the accident took place. The badly damaged and uneven road is said to have caused the mishap. While trying to avoid a deep pothole, Priyanka’s brother lost balance, causing her to fall directly under a moving lorry. She suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot.

Madanayakanahalli Police visited the scene for investigation. The body was shifted to the Nelamangala Government Hospital for post-mortem. Locals have blamed poor road maintenance for yet another fatal accident in the area.
