American electric vehicle maker Tesla confirms a new showroom in Bengaluru as part of its rapid India expansion, adding to outlets in Delhi, Mumbai and Gurugram.

Electric vehicle major Tesla has announced plans to open its fourth showroom in India, with Bengaluru set to host the new outlet. The development was officially confirmed by Tesla India through a post on X (formerly Twitter), where the company stated, “See you soon in Namma Bengaluru.”

With this move, Tesla continues to strengthen its footprint in the Indian market. The Bengaluru showroom will join the company’s existing outlets in Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram, marking another step in its phased expansion strategy across key metropolitan cities.

The announcement comes soon after Tesla launched its first charging station in India. In December last year, the company set up a charging facility at DLF Horizon Center in Gurugram, signalling its intent to build essential EV infrastructure alongside retail expansion.

Tesla’s India journey has gathered pace in recent weeks. The EV manufacturer recently inaugurated its second showroom in the country, an 8,200 square foot experience centre located at Worldmark 3 in Aerocity, Delhi. This opening came just weeks after Tesla made its India retail debut in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC).

Although details about the exact location and launch date of the Bengaluru showroom are yet to be announced, the move highlights Tesla’s growing focus on India’s major technology and mobility hub. Industry observers see Bengaluru as a strategic choice, given its strong EV ecosystem and tech-savvy consumer base.
