Brains Hospital Director Trivikram Rao absconds after a female employee filed a sexual assault complaint against him in Bengaluru

A shocking case of sexual assault has come to light from one of the city's most reputed healthcare institutions, with a rape case registered against the Executive Director of Brains Super Speciality Hospital, located near Ashoka Pillar in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The accused has been identified as Trivikram Rao, who allegedly exploited his position of authority to assault a female employee at the hospital.

The Alleged Crime

According to the complaint, the victim had joined the hospital just three months ago. The accused reportedly built familiarity with her under the pretext of workplace interaction before beginning to misuse that trust. On the pretext of taking her to client and investor meetings, Trivikram Rao allegedly took the female staff member to star hotels on multiple occasions and subjected her to sexual harassment and assault. The rape is alleged to have taken place at a prominent private hotel on MG Road in Bengaluru.

Threats and Intimidation

The case takes a more disturbing turn with allegations of threatening behaviour by the accused. After committing the assault, Trivikram Rao allegedly threatened the victim with termination from her job if she disclosed the incident to anyone. Despite these threats, the courageous woman resigned from her position and approached the police to register a complaint against the Director.
