In Bellandur, Bengaluru, two construction workers lost their lives after falling from a 13th-floor building under construction, police register case against site engineers.

A tragic accident occurred on Sarjapur Road, Bellandur, Bengaluru, when two construction workers fell from the 13th floor of a building under construction, leading to their deaths. The incident took place at the DNR Arista building site.

The deceased have been identified as Ameer Hussain (33) and Mumtaz Ali (28), both originally from West Bengal. The local Bellandur Police Station has registered a case against the construction company, Imperial Build Tech Private Limited, and the site engineers responsible for safety oversight.

Authorities have taken six individuals into custody for questioning regarding the circumstances that led to the fall. Investigations are ongoing to determine if safety norms and protocols were violated at the construction site.

The City Police Commissioner, Seemanth Kumar Singh, confirmed the case registration at Bellandur Police Station yesterday. Deputy Commissioner of Police visited the site to inspect the area. The two victims were from West Bengal, and an FIR has been filed against the building construction company. Authorities urge all construction sites to strictly follow safety regulations to prevent similar tragedies.
