Three-day business and agriculture expo organised by First Circle begins with strong participation from leaders, entrepreneurs and farmers.
The Udyami Vokkaliga Expo 2026 was launched with grandeur on Friday at the Bengaluru Palace Grounds, marking the beginning of a three-day celebration of entrepreneurship, agriculture and community enterprise. Organised by First Circle, the fourth edition of the expo drew widespread attention with its vibrant opening ceremony.
The event was formally inaugurated by Adichunchanagiri Mutt seer Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, who flagged off the three-day expo that brings together Vokkaliga entrepreneurs, farmers and business leaders under one roof. The atmosphere at the Palace Grounds reflected a blend of a farmer’s market, Sankranti festival spirit and a large-scale business meet.
Several prominent leaders attended the inauguration, including Karnataka Agriculture Minister Cheluvarayaswamy, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje, MLAs Gopalayya, Sharath Bachegowda and GT Devegowda, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath president B.L. Shankar, and First Circle chief mentor Jayaram Rayapura. Their presence added significance to the opening day.
The expo, scheduled from January 9 to January 11, features participation from renowned and young entrepreneurs from Karnataka, across India and even from abroad. While the inaugural ceremony took place in the morning, the afternoon saw business-focused discussion sessions involving entrepreneurs from Kodagu, Chikkaballapur and Kolar regions.

Speaking to NewsFirst, First Circle president Dr D Muniraju said the core aim of the Udyami Vokkaliga Expo is to strengthen and promote the Vokkaliga community in the business sector, while also encouraging and guiding the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Alongside the stage programmes, the expo grounds hosted a wide range of stalls related to agriculture and business. Displays included agricultural products, enterprise stalls, indigenous cattle breeds, rural household products and items reflecting folk culture, drawing strong public interest.
The expo will continue for the next two days, with several key leaders expected to attend, including Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and former Chief Minister Sadananda Gowda. The upcoming days will also feature conferences and panel discussions focused on entrepreneurship, agriculture and startups, along with cultural and entertainment programmes.
With its mix of business, farming, innovation and tradition, the Udyami Vokkaliga Expo 2026 has positioned itself as a major platform for enterprise and community-driven growth.
