VTU memorandum of understanding with Siemens
As part of strengthening industry collaboration, VTU has signed a memorandum of understanding with Siemens. The partnership aims to expand access to advanced training modules, research opportunities, and real-world problem-solving platforms for students.
Vidyashankar also explained the flexibility brought in through the National Education Policy (NEP), which enables students to pursue honours and minor degrees through additional credits and online learning pathways. He stressed the importance of internships, blended learning, and building expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence and quantum technologies.
Underscoring the need for reskilling and global readiness, he encouraged students to embrace innovation and adaptability.
