BJP high command holds discussion with Sriramulu in light of possible support from Janardhana Reddy

President of the Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha (KRPP) Janardhana Reddy who at one point of time played a crucial role in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victory in Karnataka has once again warmed to the idea of an alliance ahead of the national elections. This has sprung political factions into action. His one time close friend BJP leader Sri Ramulu left for Delhi and met with Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah.  

Janaradhan Reddy participated in the rally in Mandya against the replacement of a Hanuman flag with an Indian flag in the Keragodu region of the state. “I will not join the BJP. But I am willing to extend support in the context of the Lok Sabha elections,” he said speaking to reporters on this occasion. A meeting of the State Executive Committee of the KRPP will be held on 30th January. As per sources, a final decision with regard to this issue will be taken in the meeting. 

Sriramulu left for Delhi to discuss this development with the high command. As per the directions given by Amit Shah, it is possible that Janardhan Reddy might visit Delhi on 30th January. Janardhan Reddy may either be inducted in the BJP or may provide external support as per sources.
