Salman Khan Ventures to invest ₹10,000 crore in Telangana for a luxury township and world-class film studio, boosting jobs, tourism, and urban growth

Bollywood star Salman Khan’s company, Salman Khan Ventures (SKV), has announced plans to establish a massive integrated township and a film and television studio in Telangana with an investment of ₹10,000 crore. The project, designed to international standards, is expected to become a landmark in the state’s entertainment and urban development landscape.

The township will feature premium residential spaces alongside world-class leisure amenities, including a championship golf course, race course, curated nature trails, and high-end recreational facilities. Complementing this will be a cutting-edge film studio complex equipped to handle large-scale productions, OTT content creation, advanced post-production facilities, and talent development initiatives.

According to SKV, the project will generate significant employment opportunities, attract tourism, and contribute to Telangana’s long-term economic growth while aligning with the state’s broader urban expansion roadmap.

The announcement coincided with the Telangana Raising Global Summit, where the state government signed investment agreements worth ₹2.43 lakh crore on the opening day. Alongside SKV’s venture, Trump Media and Technology Group pledged ₹41,000 crore for a global media and smart technology hub, Brookfield-Axis Ventures committed ₹75,000 crore for the proposed Bharat Future City, and GMR Group signed a memorandum of understanding to invest ₹15,000 crore in aerospace and defence.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan will next appear in Apoorva Lakhia’s upcoming film Battle of Galwan, co-starring Chitrangada Singh.
