Industrialist Ashok Kheny has spoken gloriously about two Kannada actors, namely Sudeep and Darshan. He was participating in an event just days ahead of celebrity cricket league (CCL) which provides a single platform for all to meet and greet.
He said “Be it Sudeep or Darshan or Shivarajkumar, they have all done phenomenal work for the Kannada film industry. All of them love Kannada and will do anything to protect it.”
He added, “At one point in time, Kannada industry was very small. A decade ago, the combined revenue of all Kannada movies was Rs 50 crore, but it is KGF that has provided the much-needed change. The movie world has changed a lot.”
On Darshan completing 25 years in the industry, he said, “I attended the related event. Darshan has completed 25 years. He entered the industry when he was 22, but now he is 47. But even to this day, he continues to be the hero and rule the hearts of his fans. He has acted in more than 55 movies. People still praise him.
On Sudeep, he said, “I am happy, getting to know of Sudeep. Cricket is his passion. It is because of him that CCL is being played. It is because of him that all of us are getting to meet under one roof.”
