Shopper falls into a sinkhole in China

The cause is attributed to a faulty load-bearing wall

Investigations are on to ascertain the reason

In a shocking incident, a woman was swallowed by a sinkhole as the floor she was walking on collapsed. The incident occurred in China. The video of the horror, which has gone viral, was posted on social media. The incident took place earlier this month. 

In the same video, you can see another shopper running away. Reports add that another construction worker, who was working underground, was also stuck in the rubble. Rescue personnel were immediately informed. They rushed to the spot. 

Reports also add that while the worker suffered injuries to his leg, the shopper suffered fractures. 

The cause for the damage is said to be a weakened load-bearing wall. But authorities are investigating the case.
