The enthusiasm among the audience of Sandalwood movies for Kaatera is at an all time high. After “Kranti”, Challenging Star Darshan has once again heightened the anticipation among his fans. They are eagerly awaiting for December 29th when the film would be released for the consumption of the public. 2 songs of the film have already been released. The preparations for the release of the trailer is underway. As per information relayed by the film industry, the trailer would be released on 16th December. 

Kaatera is set in the 1970s and features Darshan as a villager. Director Tarun Sudhir and Jagdish Hampi have based the film on real life incidents that took place in Hampi. Darshan is shown as a person standing up for the rights of the oppressed. The art director has ensured that the finer details of the production including the usage of weapons indicates that the village belongs in the 1970s.

The film has been produced by Rockline Venkatesh. Aradhana, the daughter of Malashree will play the role of the female lead in the film. To witness Darshan in a rural avatar wherein he shines the brightest would indeed be a treat for the fans. The intrigue for the film is increasing by the minute.
