Delhi: 7 newborn babies die due to fire outbreak

    Fire outbreak started at 11:30 PM on 25th May

    12 babies on the first floor of the building were saved

    The reason for the outbreak remains unknown

7 newborn babies died due to an accidental outbreak of fire in West Delhi. The tragic incident in the Vivek Vihar region of Delhi. 

The babies were admitted to the hospital for medical treatment. The outbreak of fire started at 11:30 PM on 25th May. 12 babies on the first floor of the building were saved. The medical treatment of 5 of the babies is reported to be underway in another hospital nearby.

12 fire vehicles reached the spot as soon as information regarding the outbreak of fire reached them. The reason for the outbreak still remains unknown. A police investigation with regard to the incident will throw light on the circumstances leading up to the event. 

A similar outbreak of fire occurred in Rajkot due to the bursting of an Air Conditioning device. 27 people including 9 children died as a result of this incident. 2 tragic incidents have surfaced within a span of one day.
