‘Divorce mutual, no alimony paid’: Chandan reiterates on divorce issue with Nivedita by his side

    Nivedita, Chandan clear several misconceptions

    The two have divorced each other

    They said many media reports are untrue

Just days after the news of the divorce of celebrity couple Nivedita Gowda and Chandan Shetty went viral, the two people in question themselves addressed the media and cleared several misconceptions.

On his part, Chandan said, “The divorce is mutual. I have not paid alimony to Nivedita nor has she sought it.”

On the issue of differences in raising children, he reiterated, “The news of differences in raising a family are also untrue. I have plans as an artist. She is also earning  well and is independent. She used to take care of her financial necessities.”

The actor also threw light on one of his alleged close aides tagging someone in Nivedita’s life. He said, “Efforts are being made to tag a person along with Nivedita and create a relationship. That is also untrue. Such efforts are also untrue.”

Nivedita added, “We keep attending family functions. We have a good bonding. That person wishes me on my birthday and I do on his birthday. Please don’t create a relationship. If a song is uploaded, don’t come to the conclusion that there is something brewing with us. It is done just for clickbait. I even sought apologiised to them. But they themselves said not to be so concerned about it.”
