‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ trailer unveiled: Ranveer Singh returns as Hamza Ali Mazari in a darker, more brutal sequel

After the historic box office success of Dhurandhar, the makers launch the sequel’s trailer, promising an intense new chapter as Hamza Ali Mazari rises to power and the franchise expands on a grand pan-India scale.

The makers of the blockbuster film Dhurandhar have officially revealed the trailer of its much-awaited sequel, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge.” The announcement comes at a time when the original film continues its historic and unstoppable run at the box office, further strengthening its position as one of the biggest cinematic successes in Indian film history.

The newly released trailer has already created massive excitement online, with fans celebrating the return of Ranveer Singh as the fierce character Hamza Ali Mazari. Early visuals from the trailer suggest that the sequel will take the story into a much darker, more violent and emotionally intense territory.

The trailer quickly establishes the larger scale of the sequel. Ranveer Singh’s character appears more ruthless and powerful than before, with glimpses of brutal fight sequences and intense confrontations dominating the visuals.

The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The date has been strategically selected to coincide with major festivals including Eid, Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, ensuring a wide festive audience across different regions of India.

The sequel will release in five languages, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. This marks a clear pan-India expansion strategy, reflecting the massive popularity the franchise has gained, especially among audiences in South India.

Interestingly, the film was earlier expected to face a box office clash with “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups.” However, the competing film later postponed its release date due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

With the rival film stepping aside, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” now has a clear path to dominate the festive release window.
