‘Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1’ to stream on Prime Video from October 31

Prime Video brings Rishab Shetty’s mythological epic Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 to audiences worldwide from October 31, streaming in Kannada and three South Indian languages.

Prime Video has officially announced that the much-awaited Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 will make its streaming debut on October 31. The film, produced by Hombale Films, is the prequel to the 2022 pan-India blockbuster Kantara - A Legend, which became one of the biggest Kannada hits in history.

The movie will be available to audiences in India and over 200 countries and territories, streaming in Kannada, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. However, the Hindi version will not be available at launch, leaving Hindi-speaking audiences waiting a little longer for its streaming release.

Written, directed, and headlined by Rishab Shetty, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 continues to enjoy a strong theatrical run while preparing for its global digital premiere. The film stars Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in pivotal roles, adding depth to the mystical narrative.
