Pooja Hegde opens up on shocking misconduct by co-star during early career pan-India film

Actor Pooja Hegde has made startling revelations about a bitter experience she faced at the start of her film career. In a recent interview, the actress spoke openly about an incident involving inappropriate behaviour by a male co-star during the shooting of a major pan-India project.

According to Pooja Hegde, she had been extremely excited when she was offered a big-budget pan-India film early in her career. Being part of a project led by a pan-India star brought immense happiness and confidence. However, her excitement soon turned into distress after an unexpected and unpleasant incident on the film set.

The actress disclosed that during the shoot, the hero entered her caravan without her permission. She said the situation made her extremely uncomfortable as he allegedly behaved in an obscene and disrespectful manner. At that moment, she was unsure how to react and felt mentally disturbed by the incident.

Pooja Hegde revealed that she eventually lost her patience and physically pushed the hero away, hitting him before he immediately left the vanity van. Following the incident, she made it clear that she did not wish to continue working with him. As a result, her scenes were later shot using a body double instead of acting alongside the hero.

The actress, however, chose not to reveal the identity of the actor involved. Despite that, her comments have created a strong buzz within film industry circles and on social media, with many discussing safety, boundaries, and professionalism on film sets.

On the professional front, Pooja Hegde is currently working with actor Thalapathy Vijay in the film Jana Nayagan. The movie, which is being promoted as Vijay’s final film, was initially expected to release during the Sankranti season. However, the release has been postponed, and the makers are yet to announce a new release date.
