A serene yogic wedding at Isha Foundation quickly turned into a social media talking point after filmmaker Raj Nidimoru’s ex-wife shared reflective and cryptic posts.
A traditional yogic wedding held at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore has become the centre of public attention after the ceremony’s details and subsequent social media reactions surfaced online. Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru exchanged vows in an intimate Linga Bhairavi Vivaha ceremony, a ritual that includes Bhuta Shuddhi and differs from conventional Indian wedding formats. The couple, who had been rumoured to be in a relationship since 2024, are believed to have formalised their engagement in February this year.

Images from the ceremony quickly circulated across social media platforms, drawing congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues. Observant followers also linked Samantha’s bridal appearance to a large ring she had been wearing since mid-February.
Amid the celebrations, attention shifted online when Raj’s ex-wife, Shhyamali De, shared a set of cryptic and reflective Instagram Stories. One post depicted the vastness of the universe with an arrow pointing to a tiny planet, labelled “We live here,” marking her first message after the wedding announcement. A day before the ceremony, she had posted, “Desperate people do desperate things,” triggering speculation about the source of the remark.
In the days leading to the wedding, she shared another contemplative message containing a Sanskrit verse from the Padma Purana, referring to karmic bonds between people and how such ties dissolve once their purpose is fulfilled. The post included an image of a woman with sindoor and bottu, underscoring themes of closure and acceptance.
Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 to 2021, who later married Sobhita Dhulipala. Raj and Shhyamali, who married in 2015, reportedly separated in 2022.
Samantha and Raj have collaborated on multiple projects, including The Family Man 2, Citadel: Honey Bunny, and their ongoing work on Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.
