Choreographer Jani Master, known for his work in prominent Tamil and Telugu films, has been booked following allegations of sexual assault. A zero FIR has been registered by the police based on a complaint filed by his 21-year-old assistant. Jani Master, whose real name is Shaik Jani Basha, faces charges under sections 376(2)(n), 506, and 323 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

According to the police, the young assistant has accused Jani of repeated sexual assault and intimidation, with the alleged incidents having occurred over a period of time. The investigation is ongoing.

Jani Master is renowned for choreographing hit songs such as 'Rowdy Baby' from Maari 2, 'Butta Bomma', and 'Seeti Maar'. He has contributed to major projects like Baahubali and Eega, making him a well-known figure in the South Indian film industry.

In the wake of the allegations, actor and politician Pawan Kalyan’s party, Jana Sena, has issued an official statement distancing itself from the choreographer. The statement underscores that Jani has no direct association with the party, despite prior collaborations in the entertainment industry. As the case unfolds, the spotlight remains on both the legal proceedings and the reactions from the industry.
