Kannada veteran actor Dr Shivaraj Kumar, who is also the husband of Geetha Shivaraj Kumar, sat down with NewsFirst Prime to talk candidly about many issues including his wife’s candidacy, his fitness levels, among others. 

On wife’s electoral process

More than chances, standing for elections is itself a great achievement. I will be with her like a pillar. People need a change. I always advise my wife to be confident.

We don’t get intimidated by anyone. Nothing is easy in life. We have to face everything. It is a tough task. It is a human philosophy and psychology. We have to win it. 

On those who say Shivanna has sided with the Congress 

It is only sincerity that matters. All boils down to what I convey to the people. 

Everyone should follow what their heart says. Everyone has got their own ideology. I never ask my fans as to which party they belong to or what their ideology is. We are in India. We are contesting in India. We have to give everyone their space. 

On amazing fitness levels 

I am always positive in life. I have no jealousy in life. I have 15-20 people who walk with me on the streets. I don’t do any other exercise.
