Tragedy struck in Haryana’s Narnaul as a school bus carrying students to GL Public School met with a fatal accident near Unhani village on Thursday morning. The incident claimed the lives of six children and left 14 others injured.

The bus, transporting students from nearby villages to the private school in Kanina, Mahendragarh, overturned as it negotiated a turn from the link road of Unhani village onto the main road. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver failed to decrease the speed of the bus, resulting in it losing control and overturning.

Of the six fatalities, five children died on the spot, while another passed away while being rushed to the hospital. The injured students were promptly taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
