Tollywood’s much-anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, is set to release on December 6, 2024. Directed by Sukumar and produced on a staggering budget of Rs 500 crore, the film is one of Tollywood's most expensive productions, as per reports.

Following the success of Pushpa: The Rise in 2021, the sequel promises to intensify the rivalry between Pushpa Raj, played by Allu Arjun, and IPS officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, portrayed by Fahadh Faasil. Even before its theatrical release, Pushpa 2 has already made headlines, reportedly generating a massive Rs 900 crore in revenue from digital and satellite rights, according to a news report. This puts the film in the ranks of Indian blockbusters like RRR, which also achieved a similar pre-release milestone.
