Reason for death remains unknown

Foul smell emanated from her apartment

The Hindi Film Industry has been hit by shocking news. Former Qatar Airways air hostess Noor Malabika Das who acted alongside Bollywood actress Kajol in the web series ‘The Trail’ was found dead in her apartment. 

A suicide has been suspected to have occurred as her boy was found hanging from a fan in her apartment. As per reports, the police were informed of the incident on June 6th. The reason for death remains unknown at the moment. 

A foul smell emanated from her apartment in the Lokhandwala region of Mumbai. This made those around the apartment call the police.  The police opened the door to her body in a decomposed state hanging from the fan upon arriving. The police contacted her family but they did not volunteer to procure her body. The police took the aid of a National Governmental Organisation (NGO) to arrange for her final rites.

Noor Malabika Das was 32 years old. She hails from Assam. She has featured in several films and web series. She was active on social media. She had shared a video on Instagram 5 days before her death. Fans are expressing their condolence in the comment section of that post.
