Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, the Chief of the Air Staff, recently inaugurated the Indian Air Force Emergency Medical Response System (EMRS) at the Command Hospital in Bengaluru.
This cutting-edge facility provides a 24×7 helpline dedicated to ensuring rapid medical guidance, swift evacuation, and comprehensive care for IAF personnel and their dependents during emergencies.

The EMRS helpline is designed to facilitate the quickest possible response from the nearest medical establishment, tailored to the specific nature of each emergency. Trained medical teams will be on standby around the clock, ready to offer expert advice and rapid assistance, significantly bolstering the IAF’s emergency medical response capabilities.
In a related development, Chaudhari visited the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) Delhi Campus in March. C-DOT, a premier telecom research and development center under the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, is dedicated to creating indigenous and secure telecom solutions essential for critical infrastructure. This includes advanced defense communications and robust cybersecurity measures.
