The 25th International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) concluded with grandeur in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on March 9, 2025. The two-day event, held on March 8-9, featured electrifying performances, including a special act by Shah Rukh Khan, marking the milestone edition of the prestigious awards.

Kartik Aaryan secured the Best Actor award for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, while Nitanshi Goel won Best Actress for Laapataa Ladies. Director Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies, India’s official Oscar entry, emerged as the big winner, bagging Best Picture and multiple other accolades. The action thriller Kill also dominated various technical categories.

The night saw dazzling performances by Bollywood icons, including Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, and Kriti Sanon. The awards on March 8 recognized digital excellence, while the main ceremony on March 9 honored the biggest names in Indian cinema.

Among the key winners were Raghav Juyal (Best Negative Role for Kill), Janki Bodiwala (Best Supporting Actress for Shaitaan), and Ravi Kishan (Best Supporting Actor for Laapataa Ladies). Kunal Kemmu was awarded Best Directorial Debut for Madgaon Express, while Pratibha Ranta (Laapataa Ladies) and Lakshya (Kill) won Best Debuts.

Musical honors went to Shreya Ghoshal and Jubin Nautiyal for Best Playback Singers, with Ram Sampath securing Best Music Director for Laapataa Ladies. The event also celebrated Rakesh Roshan for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.
