    IndiGo aims to attract international tourists to Bengaluru

IndiGo, India’s largest private airline, is set to inaugurate a new direct flight route between Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi beginning August 1. This strategic move will see the airline operating the Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi flight six times a week, aiming to facilitate convenient travel for Indian passengers to explore Abu Dhabi and beyond, as per reports.

This new service, designated as flight 6E 1438, will depart from Bengaluru at 9:25 PM daily, excluding Tuesdays, and will arrive in Abu Dhabi at 11:30 PM. The return flight, 6E 1439, will take off from Abu Dhabi at 12:30 AM daily, except Wednesdays, and will land in Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at 5:45 AM.

The introduction of this route is part of IndiGo’s broader strategy to enhance connectivity and cater to both business and leisure travelers. By bridging the Silicon Valley of India with the capital of the United Arab Emirates, IndiGo aims to attract international tourists to Bengaluru, showcasing the city’s rich heritage and historical landmarks.

With this addition, IndiGo now operates 75 weekly flights across 10 Indian cities to Abu Dhabi. Bengaluru is the tenth city on the IndiGo network to offer direct flights between Abu Dhabi and India. With these new flights, IndiGo offers 75 weekly frequencies to Abu Dhabi and over 220 to the UAE.
