RCB staff alleged to have taken away CSK flags

In the high-octane match played between RCB and CSK at KSCA last Saturday, RCB decimated the opponents by 27 runs to register their berth in the playoffs.

The match has made news for many controversies including that of RCB staff asking Chennai fans not to wave their yellow flags.

In a post on X by Whistle Podu Army, the issue has been flagged.

“Taking away flags and charts from fans inside stands to stop Yellow visibility? Worse from KSCA / RCB staffs on ground, 3 came to take it away upon instructions! The fan refused to give one flag/chart and you can hear DJ asking all fans to wave RCB flags after.”

As the post says, a DJ can be heard in the background saying, “Let’s practice our victory dance. There should be only RCB flags here.”

The Dhoni-handshake fiasco 

Apart from this, former CSK captain MS Dhoni refusing to shake hands with RCB players has become a topic of hot discussion. While some videos show that Dhoni waited to shake hands with RCB players, they were drowned in celebrations, forcing Dhoni to shake hands with the RCB support staff and move away.

RCB will now play RR in the eliminator.
