LSG (Lucknow Super Giants) beat RCB (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) by 28 runs. Mayank Yadav of LSG picks up 3 crucial wickets of RCB by giving away just 14 runs in four overs.

In the 15th IPL match between RCB and LSG today at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru, RCB won the toss and chose to field first.

KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock got LSG off to a great start as in the very first over they hit 12 runs to Reece Topley and forged a 53-run partnership.

Quinton de Kock hit two consecutive sixes in the third over to Mohammed Siraj. RCB takes KL Rahul’s wicket in the sixth over when LSG’s scoree stood at 54. Quinton de Kock gets to his half-century in 36 balls in the 12th over.

Kock who continued his batting pace scored an amazing 81 runs off 56 balls. RCB bowled relatively well and restricted LSG’s total score to 181 by picking up five wickets on a high scoring pitch.

With batting openers Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis, RCB that began to chase the easily hittable target of 182 scored 36 in four overs with no loss of wicket, but in the following four overs RCB lost 4 crucial wickets with only 59 runs in 8 overs.

With this the RCB came under pressure from LSG bowlers. Dinesh Karthik, a hopeful for RCB also failed to score for RCB, finally resulting in RCB’s defeat in this match.
