In this season’s 45th IPL match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), RCB won the toss and chose to bowl first.

As Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill began to bat on their home pitch at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Saha lost his wicket to Swapnil Singh in the very first over after scoring just 5 runs. RCB picked up Gill’s wicket in the 7th over when the GT’s score was 47/2. Gill could score only 16 runs.

Sai Sudharsan and Shahrukh Khan gave a good standing for GT as they both hit half century each with Sudharsan and Khan scoring 84 and 58 runs respectively. Sudharsan remained not out in the match. With this GT put up a target of 200 runs for RCB to chase.

As RCB began to bat, Faf du Plessis lost his wicket in the fifth over when RCB’s score was 48. Virat Kohli got his half century in the tenth over with hitting 5 fours and 2 sixes.

Will Jacks hit his amazing maiden IPL century in just 41 balls with hitting mindblowing 10 sixes and 5 fours.

Virat Kohli and Will Jacks partnership score of 166 runs in 74 balls including Jacks’ magnificent batting led RCB to easy win, without taking any last overs’ pressure from GT bowlers as they hit 206 runs against the target of 200 runs in 16 overs.
