With his batting exploits, former cricketer Gautam Gambhir has etched a name for himself in the cricketing circles. And even as the captain, he has led teams successfully. Though many feared him for his talent and performances, he himself feared one batsman. Any guesses?

Well, in a chat show with a sports agency, Gautam said that  the only batsman he feared was Rohit Sharma and not other legends like Chris Gayle or AB de Villiers. He always knew he had to have a Plan A, a Plan B, and probably a Plan C as well, because if Rohit was in, he didn’t think anything could control him.

Gambhir made his international debut for India in 2003 in an ODI against Bangladesh and later made his Test debut in 2004 against Australia. He quickly established himself as a reliable opener in both formats of the game.

One of Gambhir’s most memorable performances came in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, where he played a crucial innings of 75 runs against Pakistan, helping India secure the title. He was also a key member of the Indian team that won the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, contributing crucial runs in the final match against Sri Lanka.
