Karnataka: Kumaraswamy responds to speculations of Prajwal Revanna having left India

The conclusion of the 2nd phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha Election has resulted in further complications in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) camp. The leaked videos of the Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)) candidate from Hassan Prajwal Revanna has resulted in outrage across Karnataka. 

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed to look into the allegations of sexual harassment that were being levied. Amidst these developments, reports of Revanna having left the country are making. 

Former Chief Minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy has now reacted to this. “HD Deve Gowda and I always show utmost respect while dealing with women. We solve the problems of those who approach us. The videos of Prajwal Revanna have become viral. The government has ordered an SIT probe in the matter. Let the truth pertaining to the issue come out. No one can escape from the hands of the Indian law. Everyone has to face consequences for their actions. I will not forgive anyone who has indulged in any misdeed. I will address this issue after the report comes out.” he said.

Kumaraswamy denied having any knowledge pertaining to whether Prajwal Revanna has left the country. He however added that even if he has moved to a different country, it would not have any bearing on the investigation.
