Who is Manoranjan, one among the four arrested for the parliament attack on December 13th 2023. A wide discussion around whether Manoranjan managed to con BJP MP Prathap Simha is taking place. Investigations about his background are also taking place. 

Manoranjan’s native is the Mallapura village near the Arkalgud town in the Hassan district. His family owns a lot of land. His father manages a farm. Manoranjan however was more invested in the cause of social justice. 

He hailed from a privileged family. His family shifted to Mysuru just for Manoranjan’s studies. His family has been residing in Mysuru for 15 years. 

Manoranjan was always a bright student. He did his secondary education in St Joseph’s college. He finished his Pre-University in the Marimallappa school. He did his B.Tech in the Bangalore Institute of Technology in Computer Science Engineering against his family’ wishes of pursuing a degree in civil engineering. He completed his education in 2014.

He has been careful in handling his digital footprints. He was active on social media at the time of his sister’s marriage. For the past three months however, he has deactivated across platforms. 

6 months back, Sagar Sharma, another individual arrested in the case had visited him at his house in Mysuru. He was introduced as a friend from his engineering college to his family. He even stayed over for one night.
