Karnataka: Three youngsters die while erecting banner to celebrate Rocking Star Yash’s birthday

Three youngsters died while attempting to install a cut-out of Rocking Star Yash to celebrate his birthday. The incident occurred in the Surana village located in the Laxmeshwar Taluk in the Gadag district. The deceased have been identified as 21-year-old Hanumantha Harijana, 20-year-old Murali Nadavinamuni and 19-year-old Naveen Gaaji.

They were attempting to erect the cut-out when the electric shock passed through their bodies. Three other individuals named Manjunath Harijan, Deepak Harijan and Prakash Myageri were grievously injured. They were taken to the nearby hospital immediately and offered medical treatment. 

The youngsters wanted to give a surprise to the residents of the village. They snuck out of their homes at 12 AM at night. 8-10 youngsters were involved in creating the posters. The usage of iron rods for this purpose was what ultimately culminated in the tragedy. Vijay belonging to the village brought the incident to the light of NewsFirst. 

A 11 Kilowatt electricity line was passing through the spot they had finalised for installing the poster. The three youngsters died on the spot. They had not anticipated this predicament. All the youngsters involved in the incident sustained on daily wage labour. They sustained their families.  A cloud of grief has encapsulated the families of the deceased.
