  • 50% rebate on pending traffic fines returns in Karnataka
  • Offer valid from November 21 to December 12
  • Full fines will apply once the window closes

Karnataka announces a fresh discount period for pending traffic fines, giving residents from November 21 to December 12 another opportunity to clear dues at half the cost.

Motorists have received another relief from the state government, with Karnataka announcing a fresh round of 50% discount on pending traffic fines. The new window will run from November 21 to December 12, giving vehicle owners a renewed chance to clear long-pending violations at half the penalty amount.

The announcement comes as many residents continue to struggle with accumulated fines, especially from automated enforcement cameras across the city. Traffic police have urged citizens to use this limited period and finish their payments early to avoid last-minute rush and technical delays.

Payments can be made through multiple platforms. Online options include the Karnataka State Police (KSP) app, the BTP ASTraM app, and the Karnataka One and Bangalore One portals. Citizens who prefer offline transactions can clear their dues at nearby Karnataka One centres or designated traffic police stations.

Authorities have clarified that once the discount window ends, motorists will have to pay the full fine amount without any concessions. Residents have been advised to check their violation history in advance and complete payments well before December 12 to avoid server congestion.

This is not the first time the government has offered such relief. A similar discount scheme was rolled out earlier this year, running from August 23 to September 12, after which the rebate had officially ended. With the latest announcement, the state has once again extended support to motorists, especially those who had missed the earlier deadline.
