The 64th CCH Court in Bengaluru on Monday framed charges in the high-profile Renukaswamy murder case involving actor Darshan and 16 others. Judge I.P. Nayak read out the detailed charges against each accused, beginning with Pavithra Gowda, the first accused in the case.

The court outlined Pavithra Gowda’s alleged role, from the planning of Renukaswamy’s kidnapping to his assault and murder, reading out all related sections mentioned in the chargesheet. The judge then moved to A-2, actor Darshan, detailing the allegations that he assaulted Renukaswamy after questioning him about messages sent to Pavithra. The charges covered the entire sequence, kidnapping, assault, murder, and destruction of evidence.
