KMF may roll out revised prices on Nandini curd, ghee, butter, and lassi from September 22, following GST reduction from 12% to 5%, giving consumers major relief.
Good news for consumers who rely on Nandini products!
The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) is likely to reduce prices of curd, ghee, butter, and lassi after a significant cut in GST rates on food products.
A crucial meeting with senior KMF officials is being held today to finalize the price reduction. Sources suggest that curd prices alone may see a cut of up to ₹4 per litre.
The GST on dairy products, which was first introduced in 2017, was hiked to 12% in 2022. With the recent reduction to 5%, KMF is preparing to pass on the benefit to consumers.
