The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation introduces complimentary Nandini snack kits on Flybus routes to enhance comfort and promote local dairy products.

Passengers travelling to Kempegowda International Airport on the KSRTC Flybus can now enjoy an added perk, a complimentary light snack kit featuring products from Nandini, the flagship brand of the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF).

The initiative will be officially launched by Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy on November 12 at Terminal 2 of Bengaluru Airport. KSRTC officials said this move is part of their ongoing effort to create a “flight-like travel experience” for passengers using the state-run corporation’s premium intercity airport shuttle services.

The complimentary snack kits will include popular Nandini dairy-based items such as biscuits, beverages, and other light refreshments. Apart from improving passenger comfort, the initiative also aims to showcase and promote the Nandini brand, one of Karnataka’s most trusted household names.

The Flybus service, operated by KSRTC, connects the Bengaluru Airport to several major cities and towns across the state, including Mysuru, Mangaluru, Madikeri, Manipal, Udupi, and Kundapur.

Earlier, KSRTC had offered passengers bottled drinking water on its premium services, but it discontinued single-use plastic bottles in October 2019 as part of a sustainability initiative, coinciding with Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary.

Alongside the snack kit launch, Minister Ramalinga Reddy will also flag off a new Flybus service connecting Davangere to Kempegowda International Airport, expanding airport connectivity from tier-2 cities.
