Metro services on the Yellow Line were briefly affected on Wednesday morning due to a technical issue in one of the trains. Services returned to normal after swift repair work by BMRCL.

Commuters on Bengaluru’s Yellow Line Metro faced a brief inconvenience on Wednesday morning following a technical fault in one of the trains, which temporarily affected regular services on the route.

According to officials from the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), the issue led to a short disruption in operations, causing slight delays in train movement during the morning rush hours. The fault resulted in only four trains running on the line until 8:47 a.m., instead of the usual five.

BMRCL engineers swiftly identified and rectified the technical glitch, ensuring passenger safety and restoring normal operations within a short time frame. By 8:47 a.m., services were back to their regular schedule, with all five trains operating as usual along the Yellow Line.

The corporation issued a statement requesting passengers to cooperate and remain patient during the delay, assuring them that the problem had been fully resolved. “Train operations have now been restored to normal on the Yellow Line,” officials confirmed.

The Yellow Line, which connects R.V. Road to Bommasandra, is one of Bengaluru’s key Metro corridors serving thousands of daily commuters. The quick response by BMRCL teams helped minimize disruption and ensured that morning travel resumed smoothly.

Passengers reported short delays at some stations during the brief downtime, but services stabilized shortly after the repairs were completed.
