In the Chitradurga Renukaswamy murder case, the court directs prison authorities to provide basic facilities to accused Pavithra Gowda; witness examination continues at the 64th CCH court.

In a significant development in the Chitradurga Renukaswamy case, the court has ordered the installation of a television inside the jail cell where accused number one, Pavithra Gowda, is lodged. Following this direction, a television has now been provided in her cell, similar to the facility earlier extended to actor Darshan.

Pavithra Gowda had submitted a petition seeking access to basic amenities while in judicial custody. Her plea requested permission to use a television, newspapers, library books, a radio, and facilities for meditation inside the prison. After considering the request, the court instructed jail authorities to provide a television, newspapers, and library books, subject to availability.
