Situated in the Udhampur parliamentary constituency, set for polls in the initial phase on April 19, Dadhkai draws attention not only for its electoral significance but also for its unique status as the ‘silent village’ of India.

These sisters, Reshma Bano (24), Parveen Kousar (22), and Saira Khatoon (20), despite their hearing and speaking disabilities, exude enthusiasm about participating in the electoral process.
