On the water crisis that Bengaluru is facing, she noted, “Bengaluru is facing a serious water crisis. Not everyone is getting good drinking water. Water works worth Rs 20 crore have been stopped. The scholarships meant for construction labourers have also been stopped.”

The minister also trained her guns on the government for the raising of pro-Pakistan slogans. She said, “Though slogans were raised in praise of Pakistan, the Congress coined the term ‘Hindu terror’. The health minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has revealed the name of the witness in the Rameshwaram Cafe blasts case. This is wrong”.

She also stressed that incidents related to molestation have increased. She said, “A tribal woman was raped in Belagavi. Communal incidents have also increased.”

Karnataka will go to polls in two phases, April 26 and May 7.
