Cabbie rapes mentally-ill girl

The victim was staying at her relative's place

Police track down the accused using CCTV footage

In what comes as a shocking incident, a mentally challenged girl was raped by a cabbie in Dadar, Maharashtra. As per reports, he enticed  her into his car and assaulted her sexually. 

The accused has been identified as Mohammad Jaleel Khaleel(33) and he works for Uber cab.

The girl, 15 years, was staying with one of her relatives. At around 1 AM, for some unknown reasons, she came out of the house and was standing on the road. It is at this point that the accused saw the girl all alone. 

Immediately, he made her sit in his car. He lied to her that he would take her all around Mumbai. And then, he took her to a spot near a flyover and did the unthinkable. 

Later, he dropped her back to the same place he had picked her up from. Strangely, he even wrote his mobile number and gave it to her, asking her to contact him if necessary. As the girl reached home, she informed her relatives all about the incident. 

They then lodged a complaint with the police. The cops filed an FIR and with the help of CCTVs, found the accused. 

He was later accused.
