Mahindra has officially unveiled the Thar Roxx, a highly anticipated 5-door variant of its popular off-roader, expanding on the success of the Thar 3-door SUV introduced in 2020. Priced at ₹12.99 lakh for the base petrol model and ₹13.99 lakh for the base diesel variant, the Thar Roxx promises to offer a more robust and versatile driving experience with enhanced features and practicality.

The Thar Roxx stands out with its distinctive design changes, including a triangular rear quarter glass that accommodates a thicker B-pillar, giving it a bold new look, particularly in the hard-top variant. The SUV also features a slanted roof, a design choice that has sparked mixed reactions online. Despite some reservations, this roofline could contribute to a striking silhouette when the vehicle goes topless.
Further design enhancements include a fresh alloy wheel design and a shift from the circular rear wheel arches seen in the 3-door Thar to more angular, square arches, emphasizing its rugged appeal. While the mid and top-spec variant prices are expected to be announced soon, the Thar Roxx is already generating buzz as a potential game-changer in the off-road segment, promising both style and substance for adventure enthusiasts.
