Mayank Agarwal to return to Bengaluru after health scare in flight

    A police complaint has been filed in the NCCPS

The captain of the Karnataka Ranji Trophy team Mayank Agarawal who was admitted to a hospital following deterioration in health has now shown signs of recovery. He is expected to be discharged from the hospital on 31st January following which he will arrive in Bengaluru. 

While travelling on a flight from Tripura to Surat, Mayank faced problems with regard to his health after consuming what he assumed was water. He faced a burning sensation in his mouth and throat. He was unable to talk following which he was hospitalised in the ILS Hospital. Mayank posted an update on the microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter) about improvements in his health. “I am feeling better now.Gearing to comeback. Thank you for prayers, love and support, everyone!,” he said.  


A police complaint has been filed with regard to this incident in the NCCPS (New Capital Complex Police Station) in Tripura. Mayank registered his complaint through his manager.
