Enforcement of the Code of Conduct for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 commences today, marking a pivotal step in ensuring fair and transparent democratic election processes.

The police department has been duly notified, heightening vigilance and preparedness in light of this implementation.

Initiatives are underway to fortify election integrity, with the creation of election check posts already underway. These posts, strategically positioned at key arrival and departure points within respective borders, signify a commitment to upholding electoral standards.

In line with this effort, work is in progress on creating a check post in Dasarahalli, situated within the Bangalore North Lok Sabha constituency.

This proactive measure aims to regulate and monitor activities pertaining to the electoral process, deterring any potential malpractices or violations.

By establishing these checkposts, authorities aim to maintain the sanctity of the democratic process and safeguard the rights of voters. Lok Sabha Elections 2024 beginning from April 19 will be held in 7 phases across India, Karnataka will vote in 2 phases on April 26 and May 7.
