BJP takes on Cong over 'funds freezing' issue
BJP alleges Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi shamed India
Congress had criticised Narendra Modi over 'funds freezing'
Earlier this morning, the Congress High Court launched a blistering attack on the Narendra Modi-led government for freezing its funds during the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
As a response to it, the BJP launched an equally acerbic assault back on the Congress, exposing its alleged rot.
Emphasing that Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi had shamed Indian democracy, senior leader Rahul Shivashankar said, “The Congress’ fear of loss is out in the open. If the Congress doesn’t get votes, it is not our fault. The Congress has not filed returns for years together. In fact, the Delhi High Court didn’t honour the Congress’ plea on filing taxes.”
Sambit Patra, another BJP spokesperson added, “It’s not the Congress party’s account that is frozen, but it is the party itself.”
Citing the example of PM Modi who keeps awake till late in the night and then continues with his daily sojourn, he said ‘P’ means Pesina and ‘M’ means mehnat.
The two leaders also pointed out that other parties like TMC got substantial amounts despite having fewer MPs in the Parliament. Also, they sought the parties to come out in the open and declare their names.
Lastly, the two leaders also gave a piece of advice to Congress: “The more you allow Rahul Gandhi to speak, the more you are losing in the elections.”
