Mumbai: Spurned over love, jilted man kills ex-girlfriend bang in the middle of road with spanner

A Mumbai man has brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend with a spanner. This horrific incident happened on Tuesday at Vasai road, Chinchpada. The 29-year-old attacker repeatedly hit the woman on her chest and head, right in the middle of the road.

The woman, identified as 20-year-old Aarti, succumbed to her injuries. The reason behind the assault was an alleged break up from a two year relationship. 

In a video shared on social media, the man can be seen striking the woman with the iron wrench, while screaming, “Kyun Kiya, Kyun kiya” showing his extreme emotions caused due to the breakup, which led to this horrendous outcome.

There were many people around but unfortunately, none of them gave a helping hand. Unfortunately, even motorists chose to move away, instead of helping the girl who lay dead in a pool of blood. A bystander even recorded the video, showing evidence.

The accused was later arrested by the local police.The extreme step taken by the man, killing the innocent girl, portrays the violence often present in such domestic situations. It underscores how severe and tragic the consequences can be when conflicts escalate unchecked within communities.
