Baba Vanga’s real name was Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova. Born in 1911 in Bulgaria, she lost her eyesight at a young age. It is believed that this event marked the beginning of her alleged prophetic abilities.

Before her death in 1996, Baba Vanga was credited with predicting several major global events, including the death of Princess Diana, the 2001 New York Twin Towers attacks, the Mumbai terror attacks, China’s rise as a global power, and the Russia–Ukraine war.
