Gleeden reports 270% growth in India, with women making up 58% of users. Bengaluru tops the chart, and the app plans to expand further in 2025.
India’s online dating landscape took a surprising turn as Gleeden, the extra-marital app, announced 3 million users in the country. The revelation comes after a 270% surge in user base in 2024, highlighting India’s growing appetite for discreet relationships despite its traditional image of big fat weddings.

Women lead the surge!
Women are leading the trend, now making up 58% of users, with a 128% increase in female participation. Interestingly, 40% of women spend up to 45 minutes daily on the app. Most users fall in the 30-45 age bracket, revealing a shift in dating patterns among married professionals.
Bengaluru tops the user base with 20%, followed by Mumbai at 19%, Kolkata at 18%, and Delhi at 15%. Smaller cities such as Bhopal, Vadodara, and Kochi also show rapid adoption.

Gleeden aims to expand to more cities and innovative features, targeting a 5-million-strong Indian community by 2025.
