In a heartfelt message shared on X account, Vijay shared that his heart and mind are weighed down by the unimaginable tragedy and the suffering of the affected families.

Recognizing the irreparable loss suffered by the victims’ families, Vijay announced that his party, the Tamil Nadu Vijay Katchi, would provide ₹20 lakh to each family of the deceased and ₹2 lakh to those hospitalized due to injuries. He emphasized that while no financial support can fully compensate for the loss of loved ones, this assistance is aimed at helping families cope during this difficult time.

Vijay also extended his personal condolences and stood in solidarity with the families, affirming his commitment to support all affected individuals. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and assured that all necessary help would be provided by the party during their treatment.
